Our goal in production is to produce quality assured and reliable medicines. We place special emphasis on the smooth shift from R&D production to the commercial scale production. The coordination activities with R&D are initiated while the product is still in the R&D pipeline.
The contract manufacturing is another important function of our production division,and has earned a high reputation for the production and supply of high quality products for other pharmaceutical companies.
Each factory specializes in certain functions in order to maximize overall production capabilities as a company.
At Hokkaido Factory, we exclusively produce bulk materials.Fukushima Factory is our primary production foothold where low-cost operations in strict compliance with the cGMP and quality product output are realized, qualifying itself as an internationally competitive production facility for the 21st century. (ISO9001:2000 certified)
At Kumamoto Factory, we manufacture pharmaceutical products in the tablet, capsule and powder forms. This factory has a flexible manufacturing system which is capable of small volume production for a variety of products.
It has the state-of-the-art quality control hardware, and a total quality assurance system has been built in it.
